Directions to the Farm
For GPS users: please note that your GPS directions will likely send you over small gravel roads in very bad condition. The best way to get here is to follow the directions below!
From Ashfield Center, head west on Main St to the intersection of Rt 116 (Main St) and Rt 112. Go straight across onto Hawley Rd. At the top of the hill, bear left at the Y intersection on to Bear Swamp Rd. Follow Bear Swamp Rd for 2 miles until it runs into Bug Hill Rd, and bear right on to Bug Hill. After 1 mile, drive straight through a four-way intersection on to Watson Rd. At 1 mile, the road turns sharply right at Wauban Farms dairy - don't go straight here or you will end up in their manure pile! Watson Rd ends in 1 mile at Plainfield/East Hawley Rd. Turn right, follow for 2 miles to Grout Rd. Turn right on Grout, and the road curves right to become Forget Rd. We're 1 mile up at #58 - look for the big red barn! The farm shop is in the smaller red barn on the left just past the house!
From Route 9 (Northampton/Springfield, Pittsfield, and points south), head west on Route 9 from Northampton, or east on Route 9 from Pittsfield, to the intersection with Route 112 in Goshen. Turn north on Rt 112. Follow 4.5 miles to Rt 116 North, turn left. Follow 116 for 2.2 miles to Watson Spruce Corner Rd, turn right. Follow Watson Spruce Corner Rd for 2.5 miles to a four way intersection, and turn left on Watson Rd. From Route 2 (Greenfield, Williamstown, and points north), head west on Route 2 from Greenfield, or east on Route 2 from Williamstown, to the center of Charlemont. At the west edge of town, turn south on 8A South at the sign for Berkshire East Ski Area and cross the Deefield River. Immediately after the bridge turn left, and then take your first right onto East Hawley Rd. You will climb for 4 miles, and at the top, turn left on Grout Rd. Grout Rd curves right to become Forget Rd. We are one mile up at #58 - look for the big red barn! The farm shop is in the smaller red barn on the left just past the house!
